Today i am going to show you how to make a simple chinese soup.
It's very easy to make, and it tastes as good as other difficult made dishes. When everytime I am really fed up with cooking really complicated big dishes, I prefer to make this :).
Soup's name: Tomate meat soup
Materials you need: Mushrooms 200 grams. 1 or 2 eggs. 6 tomatoes. 500 grams chopped pork (which is used for making meat balls). 1 garlic bulb (approximately 6 or 7 cloves in 1 bulb). some spring onion (not so necessary)
Step 1: you should always wash all the materials!!! to make sure there are no pesticides and dirt.
Step 2: cut the mushrooms into pieces. Cut the tomatoes into boat shape (ok.. I call it a boat).
Step 3: Peel all the garlic!!! Now there is a really interesting and useful trick. Many people (or at least me once :D ) are having problems with peeling the garlic. It's just too hard to get rid of the outer-skin from the garlic. But there was someone, who taught me an easy and fast way. Use some heavy and clean tool to smash the GARLIC!! You will find out, that the outer-skin is magically detached!!
Step 4: chop all the garlic into really really small pieces.
Step 5: Mix all the chopped meat, garlics and 2 eggs together. Also put some salt. I don't know how much exactly you should put. It depends on your taste. But don't put too less!
Step 6: Boil 2 litres of water. Wait until the big bubbles are coming up. Don't put the materials down, until the water is really boiling!!
Step 7: Put all mix down into the boiling water and cover the pot. Set the fire to maximum. Wait more than 10 minutes until the soup is totally boiling again. The soup and meat should be white.
Step 8: Now put all the tomatoes and mushrooms in. Also add more salt. Tip: Don't add too much salt at first!!! Always taste your soup and see if you need to add more. You CAN'T get the salt out, if you put too much in the very beginning.
Step 9: You can consider to put some spring onion, if you like. Now cover the pot again, set the fire to maximum and wait until the water is totally boiling again.
Step 10: Enjoy your chinese tomato meat soup!!! Bon appetit!

Looks very delicious! Looking forward to make it myself.
Tianci, don't get discouraged if you don't get comments withing an hour of posting. Many folks live in different time zones (for instance, I live in the central United States), and you only posted this yesterday!
I, for one, am interested in learning to cook Chinese. I really appreciate the pictures that accompany your instructions -- the photos make it so much easier to understand what things should look like along the way. Please do keep posting recipes! I am bookmarking your site so I can easily keep checking back.
Thank you! I'll try your soup when the weather cools down (temps exceeding 100 degrees Farenheit for more than a month now). Got any recipes for chilled dishes?
Thanks!
